We cannot publish meaningful price tariffs because all nursery places qualify for some degree of Government funding but the amount available depends on a number of factors, including your own particular circumstances.
For example, there are three separate funding schemes operated by Central Government
- All working parents can claim up to £55 per week in nursery fees (so it's up to £110 per week if both parents are working) providing you are prepared to make a salary sacrifice.
- Parents who are studying at university have their own national funding scheme (Student Finance)
- In addition, for parents in East London, there is the "Free Entitlement" to fifteen hours per week of childcare, which is available to all children over three years old providing that their third birthday has occurred before a certain date. Three different dates are specified each year, each related to the timing of a Primary School term and if your child's birthday occurs after the date relating to one term, then they won't qualify until the start of the next term. You should also note that Free Entitlement only applies to Primary School term time weeks. So if you are looking for continuity of childcare, you need to check with us what it will cost for attendance out of term time. And, of course, the cost of additional hours will vary according to how many you want and when.
Finally, you may be eligible for funding support under a scheme that is being run (often for a limited number of years only) by your local authority and a number of colleges and public sector employers also run their own particular funding schemes
