A 79-place day nursery located in a large converted two-storey building in a quiet road, a quarter of a mile from Ramsbottom's main shopping area. The nursery has its own car park and there is on-street parking outside for set-down and pick-up. Built on a hill, both floors have direct outside access. The main entrance at the front is on the upper level while access to the outside play area, at the back of the building, is from the lower level. The upper level has four separate nursery rooms, one for Babies, two for Toddlers, and one for the 'before and after school' club, plus a separate sleep room. 2-year olds and over 3's are located in two large separate rooms for Explorers and Pre School on the lower level. The nursery has one large outside play area.

Meals and snacks are prepared on-site to menu guidelines prescribed by a consultant nutritionist and dietitian with a Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Foundations for Learning has pioneered the use of a Single Integrated Curriculum for children from babyhood right through to Pre School. This ground-breaking development has been led by our own in-house teaching staff and our monthly activity plans for all age groups are prepared and delivered under the direction of our Corporate Curriculum Coordinator, who has both nursery education and teaching professional qualifications.
