A 69-place day nursery is located in a converted farm house with an additional purpose-built section and set in a rural area, across the lane from the playing fields of Hollymount School. The nursery has its own car park. There are four separate spacious nursery rooms, one for Babies, one for Toddlers, and one for Explorers, plus a large separate room for Pre-School. There's also a sleep room and an additional room for the before and after-school club. There is also a separate sensory area with soft play equipment. The nursery has a large outside play area and a separate outside play area for babies is planned for next year. There is also a new garden area with natural features encouraging children to explore the world around them.

Meals and snacks are prepared on-site to menu guidelines prescribed by a consultant nutritionist and dietitian with a Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Foundations for Learning pioneered the use of a Single Integrated Curriculum for children from babyhood right through to Pre School. This ground-breaking development has been led by our own in-house teaching staff and our monthly activity plans for all age groups are produced by the staff under the guidance, support and monitoring of our Corporate Curriculum Coordinator, who has both nursery education and teaching professional qualifications.
